Showbiz career : Jake auditioned with Tom Adrales of Circle of 10 Image Model Search sometime in 2008. He was referred to Kuya Germs (German Moreno) who allowed him to sing in his radio show. The next day, he already taped his first tv appearance in GMA's Walang Tulugan with German Moreno. Then he was cast in other GMA shows - Joaquin Bordado, Gagambino, and Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? but he became famous for his portrayal of the young Tristan in the Philippine adaptation of Stairway to Heaven. He plays Jacob in Reel Love Presents : Tween Hearts.
